Nordisk Film Live in co-operation with Momoland - a part of Wallengren Music & Theatre Management - presents Theatre Concert Hey Jude. Nikolaj Cederholm and Hellemann Bros are the creators behind Hey Jude which opens in Forum Arena in Copenhagen on December 28 2012. It is the biggest theatrer concert in Denmark so far. The cast consists of Cecilie Stenspil, Pernille Rosendahl, Jimmy Jørgensen, Troels Lyby og Mark Linn. More are to be confirmed. Costumes are designed by Anja Vang Kragh who used to be a designer for Stella McCartney.
Kyle Eastwood plays Denmark
Kyle Eastwood, eldest son of the actor Clint Eastwood, is playing Denmark with his jazz band. On February 2nd 2012 he performs with his five piece band at Posten in Odense. It is Kyle Eastwoods first performance in Denmark.
Max Raabe & Palast Orchester plays Denmark and Sweden
Küssen kann man nicht alleine is the title of Max Raabe and Palast Orchesters Tour 2011. No less than six shows will the 48 years old German play in Sweden and one in Denmark. Max Raabe has become famous for re-creating the sound of German dance music from the years around 1920 and 1930. But also new songs like Sex Bomb has been re-recorded by Max Raabe who in fact is an operasinger.
Come Together plays Aarhus
One of the greatest successes in modern Danish theatre, the theatre concert Come Together, will play Aarhus. Come Together, created by Nikolaj Cederholm, will headline Musikhuset Aarhus programme for this years Aarhus Festuge. It will be a concert version with out set-designer Kim Witzels work, but still with costume designer Anja Vang Kraghs magneficient kostumes and the great music arrangements by Jens and Peter Hellemann. When Come Together was shown in Copenhagen no less than 150.000 people experienced the theatre concert.
Woody Allen plays Denmark, Sweden and Norway
One of the biggest movie directors of our time is coming to Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Woody Allen is behind movies such as Manhattan, Hannah and her sister, Manhattan Murder Mystery and latest successes Match Point and Vicky Christina Barcelona. He comes not to introduce a new movie, but to play jazz. Woody Allen will be performing on the 22nd of March in Imperial in Copenhagen along with his New Orleans Jazz Band with musical director Eddy Davis. For many years Woody Allen has played the clarinet at different jazz clubs in his hometown New York, where he still plays regular concerts. Now he visits Denmark for the first time, when he plays a concert with his seven man band. Allen has been playing with his New Orleans Jazz band for 30 years. They have released two albums, played at several festivals and are mainly focusing on New Orleans/Dixieland jazz. One of a Kind
One of a Kind is a visuel show based on music and dance with Julie Steincke as the leading character. She is accompanied by a live orchestra and between three and six dancers. The audience will be lead through a universe of senses in which musical and pop songs are interpreted and guided by dances, smells, videos, sounds and lights. One of a Kind can be booked at wallengren music and production.
Cecilia Zwick Nashs one-woman show
Skuespillerinden Cecilia Zwick Nash fortæller i et one-woman show et væld af anekdoter fra en tid, hvor man ville skabe en bedre og smukkere verden med penslen og legen som våben. Showet tager udgangspunkt i Cecilias oplevelser fra en opvækst, som ikke var helt efter kirkebogen, og hvor kontrasterne var store i den lille, religiøse by i Sverige, Drakabygget. Music & Theatre Management er glade for at præsentere dette nærværende, varme og yderest underholdende show med titlen Havfruemoderens datter.
Theaterconcert Gasolin' as a concert
The theatreconcert, which had great success on Oestre Gasvaerk in Copenhagen, will be touring in Denmark, Sweden and Norway later this year. Top Danish actors and singers will be on stage along with a five piece band.
65daysofstatic
It makes us particularly proud to present the British band 65daysofstatic who supported The Cure very successfully on their US tour last last year. Although 65daysofstatic is largely unknown to a wider audience, reviewersthe world over praise them for their innovative post-rock which intersperseselectronic elements à la Aphex Twin with epic metal motifs. Last time they were in Denmark, they gave two unforgettable concerts in Århus and Copenhagen. This time, they will be performing at Beta in Copenhagen.
Don McLean plays Stavanger
The American singer, poet and guitarplayer Don McLean performs in Stavanger. Don McLeans no. one hit is American Pie which was released in 1971. He has throughout the years had a big audience in The States and most certainly also in the UK and Ireland. Now his fans in Norway can look forward to the show with the 64 year old new yorker.
